Book a surgery appointment
01903 735200
We aim to offer each patient contact with a health care professional within 24 hours of initial contact and/or a doctor/nurse within 48 hours. This means you will be offered the first available appointment with a doctor or nurse. If you are receiving on-going treatment and wish to see a specific doctor or nurse, please tell the receptionist who will endeavour to accommodate your request.
You may be given an appointment at any of the three surgeries, if you have a preference please state this clearly. Whilst we will endeavour to meet your requirements this may not always be possible on our busiest days.
We have some pre-bookable appointments that can be booked two weeks in advance. The rest of our appointments are bookable on the day. Please telephone the surgery in the morning between 8.00 and 10.00am if you need to see the doctor.
Mondays are our busiest day and it would be helpful if routine telephone calls, messages and requests could wait until later in the week.
Please telephone to cancel an appointment if you are unable to keep it.
Normal appointments are for 10 minutes, therefore, if you are booking an appointment for a specific purpose, such as vaccinations, medicals or a smear test, please let us know when booking your appointment.
Home Visits
01903 735200
Home visits are for patients who are too unwell to come to the surgery. Please consider carefully whether a request for a visit is necessary. Urgent cases can always be fitted in during surgeries and even children, if wrapped in a blanket, can often be seen more quickly at surgery than if visited at home. If a visit is requested, please call the surgery before 10.00am stating clear instructions of how to find your address, your telephone number and how urgently you wish the doctor to call. People who have chest pain or need to see a doctor immediately should call 999.
