OBTAIN A REPEAT PRESCRIPTION ?

Patients on regular medication will be given a form to use to order repeat prescriptions. Please only re-order the items that you actually need. The required items should be ticked off and the sheet placed in the box in the foyer, or posted to the surgery.

Please allow 72 working hours for your prescription to be ready. A review of your medication will be conducted regularly. Requests for repeat prescriptions are not accepted over the telephone. Repeat prescriptions will only be issued in conjunction with the repeat requests. Most pharmacies in the area now collect prescriptions from us on a daily basis. This means you can collect your prescription directly from the pharmacy without an extra return trip to the surgery. Please nominate your chosen pharmacy clearly on your repeat prescription form.

SICK CERTIFICATES

An NHS certificate is not needed in you are off work for less than seven days (including weekends). This period is covered by a self-certification available from your employer. You only need to see the doctor if the absence is for longer or if your employer requires a private certificate for which a charge is payable.
