Our clinical systems are merging on 30 June
Everything you need to know
On 30 June 2026, ACF Medical Group will complete the final step of our practice merger by bringing The Coppice Surgery and Fitzalan Medical Group onto one shared clinical computer system, SystmOne. We will be closing the surgery and telephone lines from 2pm on 30th June, in agreement with the Sussex & Surrey ICB (Integrated Care Board). We will be open as usual from 8am on 1st July but if you require anything urgent that cannot wait until we reopen, please call 01293 698088 for medical help and support. Please do not call NHS 111 or attend A&E. Remember, you can always visit our website for prescriptions and other queries
What is NOT changing: Both surgery buildings, all phone numbers, all GPs and clinical staff, and all contact details remain exactly the same. The Coppice Surgery continues to operate from its current address as a branch site of ACF Medical Group.
Your medical records, medications, repeat prescriptions, referrals and allergies all transfer automatically. You do not need to do anything.
No action required from patients. Your care will not be interrupted.
One brief change: Online services (NHS App, online appointments, online prescription requests) will be offline for a few hours on the evening of 30 June. They will be fully restored on 1 July morning.
Any questions, please contact reception in the usual way.
