The Covid-19 and flu vaccines help give you better protection, reduce the risk of serious illness and ease pressure on the NHS.
Who can have the COVID Vaccine?
- Adults age 75 and over
- Residents in care homes for older adults
- Individuals ages 6 months and older who are immunosuppressed
Who can have the FLU vaccine?
- Pregnant women
- Children age 2 or 3 on 31st Aug 26
- People aged 6 months – 65 yrs in clinical risk group
- Adults age 65 yrs and over
- Those in long stay residential care homes
- Carers in receipt of carer allowance or main carer of elderly/disabled person
- Close contact on immunosuppressed individuals
- Frontline workers
Both vaccines are safe, effective and given as a quick, simple injection.
